Parent & Me – 18 months to 2 ½ years

This fun-filled class is geared toward the youngest of students. We incorporate music and dance to develop motor skills and rhythm. Children do not need to be potty-trained for this class.

PreBallet & Tap – 2 ½ to 4 years

We use creative movement to teach the very basics of ballet and tap. Students will be encouraged to use their imagination in this fun and playful environment. Dancers do need to be potty-trained for this class.

Combo I – 4 to 6 years

We will learn and build on the basic steps of ballet and tap and more of an emphasis is placed on remembering our dance vocabulary. Imagination and creative movement are still utilized to make learning fun.

Combo II – 5 to 7 years

This combination class of ballet, tap, and jazz continues to develop the dancer’s skills and technique. We continue to use our imagination while remembering choreography and terminology.

Ballet – 7 through Adult

Beautiful and timeless, ballet is the foundation for all other dance techniques. Dancers will follow the traditional progression in each class working at the barre, then adagio and petit allegro, then grand allegro. Focus is placed on technique and proper alignment.

Pointe – Permission given by Ms. Alisha

This is a highly technical form of ballet where the performer dances on the tips of her toes. At a minimum, dancers must take ballet twice a week for a year before enrolling in this class in order to build the strength and skills necessary to avoid injury.

Musical Theater – 7 to 18 years

In this class, students will learn to sing, dance, and act. We’ll play theater games to learn our skills as well as performance pieces for our shows. Focus is placed on technique and showcasing personality.

Jazz – 7 through Adult

Jazz is a continually evolving dance form and has been a catalyst for other well-known disciplines such as modern, lyrical, and contemporary. Dancers will start with a warm-up at the center, then on to progressions and choreography. Focus is placed on technique and proper alignment.

Tap – 7 through Adult

Both styles of tap – Broadway and Rhythm – are taught in this class with a large emphasis placed on learning the classic steps. Classes will start with a warm-up and then dancers will work at the center and travel across the floor before ending with some improv. Focus is placed on clarity, rhythm, and execution of the steps.

Hip Hop – 5 through Adult

A fun and high-energy class for sure! Each class will include a warm-up, conditioning, and choreography. Focus is placed on performance and developing one’s own style.

Modern – 7 through Adult

Modern dance is all about individuality! Dancers will be called on to bring their own interpretation to the movement while working on strengthening the core, improving flexibility, and developing musical awareness.

Group Voice – 5 to 18 years

Students will learn to sing using healthy vocal techniques. We’ll work on increasing range and building confidence for our performances.

Acting – 7 to 18 years

This fun class uses games to help students build their improvisation skills and character building. Emphasis is placed on imagination and character development.
