Studio Policies

Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.  After that time a $10 late fee will be assessed to the account. Students will not be able to participate in class if their accounts are more than 30 days delinquent. Any returned checks will incur a $25 fee.

The studio will use Loudoun County Public Schools as a guide for closing due to inclement weather.  We will contact all affected families through email, text, and/or Facebook.  Two snow days are built into our school year and after that make-up classes will be scheduled.

Please notify your teacher of any known absences.  If a student misses class due to illness, family event, or school function, the class/es may be made up within one month (before or after) of the absence.  Students may take classes one level up or down as their make-up classes.  Any other make-up class options must be approved by the teacher.  Please also be sure to notify the teacher of your make-up classes.  It is recommended that students in pointe shoes make-up their classes within two weeks of the missed classes.

Students are expected to be on-time and have the appropriate clothing, shoes, and hair for each class.  For their safety, students arriving more than 10 minutes late may be asked to watch the remainder of the class.  Additionally, if a student misses 20 minutes or more of a class, it will be considered an absence.

If you wish to withdraw from a class, two weeks’ written notice must be provided.  Any tuition due during this time must be paid in full.

A minimum of four enrolled students is necessary for a class to run.

Our Policies

“Ms. Mary is a fun teacher and very patient with her students. If you’re having a hard time understanding a new combination, she’ll walk you through it step by step until you get it. She makes me want to practice! Ms. Alisha has been my teacher for 4 years, and has taught me to enjoy and appreciate ballet.  I love being on pointe because it’s so challenging, but I have a great teacher who makes it fun!”
